This month's Stitch Magazine features a couple of Christmas projects by me!

                                  






















There are two wall piece projects, the Snowflake Tree and Angel & Stars.

So, why not make a fantastic wall decoration just in time for the festive season, these would also make a wonderful handmade gift!

I've just got back from a great Festival of Quilts at Birmingham's NEC. It was lovely to meet new customers and to catch up with familiar ones!

In particular, the Crazy Patchwork patterns proved very popular - have a look!

The CRAZY PATCHWORK PATTERNS have recently been featured in the Fabrications Quilting For You magazine. There are 2 patterns - one for a tea cosy and the other a cushion cover, both patterns come with complete instructions and templates for some crazy patchwork fun! I would recommend using at least 3 blanket bit bags for each of these projects. Have a look at the SHOP page for more details.

The Madeleine Millington online shop is now open! You can now purchase cards, Blankits, fabric and patterns using the online shop page. Payment can be made securely by credit card or paypal. I am running the following workshop next Friday (7th May) at the beautiful Bovey Castle  - there are still spaces left!

MADELEINE MILLINGTON SPRING TEXTILE WORKSHOP

A one day course, where you will produce a colourful springtime embroidered textile picture. The day includes morning coffee, a two course lunch in the Castle Bistro, afternoon refreshments and materials. All in the luxurious 5 Star setting of Bovey Castle. 

Friday May 7th from 9.30am until 3pm.

As you may have noticed there are a few changes afoot on the website. The Blankits website www.blankits.net is on the move and will be incorporated into this one rather than having the two seperate sites. Very, very soon you will be able to purchase all of my wares (including the new range of Blankits) via this site by card or Paypal. Whilst all these things are being tweaked, please contact me if you have any questions or would like to purchase any Blankits, fabric or patterns.

...just had a delivery of bespoke dyed wool fabric for the kits (a scrummy pink and apple green). This is GREAT as it means that I can get cracking on the new Blankits range!

Here's a pin cushion (complete with pom-poms) which is in the new range and will be available to make in 4 different colourways.
