Madeleine Millington
Madeleine Millington works with vintage blankets, dyeing and recycling them. She uses contemporary colours and handstitching together with the techniques of appliqué and embellishment.
Some of the themes depicted in her embroidered quirky pieces are those of birds, dogs, boats, fish, angels and people. These are then made up into wallpieces, mounted on white, stretched canvas, as well as cushions and brooches.
